Bill Dale
Executive Director
As Executive Director of the California Beef Council, Bill Dale oversees Beef Checkoff collections, manages budgets, supervises all operations, and generally herds the Beef Council's staff of four. Bill serves as the conduit between the council members and the staff, insuring that the council's mission statement, goals and objectives are carried out through cohesive, on-message, and relevant programs, allowing each team member's efforts to contribute to a relatively seamless, highly-effective whole.
A California native, Bill graduated from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo with a BS in Agricultural Science and an MS in General Agriculture. Prior to stepping in as the Beef Council's Executive Director, Bill taught Animal Science and was Division Chair of Agriculture at West Hills Community College in Coalinga, and served as C.E.O. of a number of California County and District Agricultural Association Fairs. Bill lives in Newcastle, breeds and trains Border Collies, and follows the rodeo exploits of his teenage daughter, Kendall.
