Annette Kassis
Director, Consumer & Brand Marketing

As Director of Consumer & Brand Marketing for the California Beef Council, Annette Kassis develops and oversees the CBC's consumer-facing programs including promotional partnerships with compatible consumer brands, broadcast and online advertising, traditional/digital/social media marketing, and media relations. 

Prior to joining the CBC in 2012, Annette had a lengthy career in advertising and public relations that included almost 20 years as co-owner of successful Sacramento-based advertising/public relations/event management agency K&H Marketing, LLC.

Annette studied journalism and history at Louisiana State University-Shreveport, and continued with graduate studies in United States history at California State University-Sacramento and University of California-Santa Barbara. She has appeared on C-SPAN's Book TV and in the documentary films "The Sacramento Picture" and "Alhambra: Sacramento's Palace of Fantasy," and is the author of three recent books on California history She and her husband Rich  divide their time between the Sacramento and Truckee regions enjoying the outdoors, cooking (beef!), and working on a never-ending cycle of home improvement projects.
