Annette Kassis
Director, Consumer & Brand Marketing
As Director of Consumer & Brand Marketing for the California Beef Council, Annette Kassis develops and oversees the CBC's consumer-facing programs including promotional partnerships with compatible consumer brands, broadcast and online advertising, traditional/digital/social media marketing, and media relations.
Prior to joining the CBC in 2012, Annette had a lengthy career in advertising and public relations that included almost 20 years as co-owner of successful Sacramento-based advertising/public relations/event management agency K&H Marketing, LLC.
Annette studied journalism and history at Louisiana State University-Shreveport, and continued with graduate studies in United States history at California State University-Sacramento and University of California-Santa Barbara. She has appeared on C-SPAN's Book TV and in the documentary films "The Sacramento Picture" and "Alhambra: Sacramento's Palace of Fantasy," and is the author of three recent books on California history. She and her husband Rich have a son, Mike, and daughter-in-law, Kayla. Rich and Annette divide their time between the Sacramento and Truckee regions enjoying the outdoors, cooking (beef!), and working on a never-ending cycle of home improvement projects.
